Testnet is Live
Hey everyone. You can checkout the testnet on Rinkeby at nftx-rinkeby.netlify.app.
The frontend is very rough. Please hold off on any (non-critical) suggestions for a couple weeks until I’ve had a chance to fix it up a bit—but by all means contact me if you are having trouble.
I plan to get mainnet up this coming week, and to begin the community raise shortly after that. I will also create a Discord server around the same time as the community raise begins.
The plan is to distribute about 30-40% of NFTX during the initial community raise. Participants will be able to use either NFT fund tokens (e.g. PUNK-BASIC, GLYPH, etc.) or will be able to participate directly with ETH. All NFTX received during this initial raise will be vested for a couple weeks. The NFTX valuation for this raise will be between 2.5M and 3M (people participating with NFT fund tokens will have a slightly better rate).
There will also be another raise for about 10% of supply if and when the NFTX fully diluted mcap hits 5M. NFTX during this subsequent raise will be traded in exchange for ETH, and this ETH will be used to bootstrap an NFTX liquidity pool.
After the initial raise is complete, we will shift focus to launching the D2 funds (like PUNK, KITTY, AXIE, and AVASTR) which will use D1 funds as their inputs. I hope for this to be done by the end of January, at which point we will be ready to begin integrating with other DeFi protocols and open up the platform to farmers.
If you have any questions please contact me on twitter @alexgausman or @NFTX_.
Also note that I have deleted older Substack posts which had outdated information. I plan to write a litepaper and some other documents next week to fill the void.
Cheers!
Alex
